- Ensure the permission is set to "Viewer"
- Click "Copy link"

For Notion:
- Open the Notion page or database you want to share
- Click the "Share" button in the top right corner
- Change to "Anyone on the web with link" option
- Ensure the permission is set to "Viewer"
- Click "Copy link"

Step 2: Create and Style Map
There are two ways to start creating a map with your Google Sheets or Notion link:
Option 1: Quick Start from Homepage
- Go to MapOn.ai.
- Paste your copied link into the input box on the homepage.

Option 2: From Your Workspace
- Log in to MapOn.ai.
- In your workspace, click + Create new map.

After you provide the link, the setup flow is the same:
- Choose a map type
This step depends on your use case - choose the map type that best fits your scenario.
- Symbol Map: Mark locations such as leads, stores, or assets.
- Heat Map: Visualize intensity or density of activities.
- Region Map: Aggregate and compare data by administrative areas such as cities, districts, or countries.
- Match data
In this step, you’ll tell MapOn how to read your table and which fields to use.
- First, choose whether your data comes from Google Sheets or Notion.
- For Notion, you can either pick a database directly from your account or use a public share link.
- For Google Sheets, simply use the sheet you shared via link.
- Then, select the database or sheet you want to use from the shared link.
- Next, choose the coordinate type: latitude & longitude, or address (MapOn will automatically run geocoding for you). If you’re creating a Region Map, you can also use the administrative region name field directly for aggregation.
- Optional, you can select the metric or value field you want to display.
