Welcome to MapOn.ai for Google Sheets. This document will walk you through everything from installation to creating and sharing your first map from a spreadsheet.

1. Install MapOn.ai

Search and install MapOn.ai from Google Workspace Marketplace

2. Launch MapOn.ai in the sidebar

Go to the Google Sheet you wish to turn into a map, and then open Mapon.ai from the sidebar.

3. Create Map

Click the Create Map button at the bottom.

3.1 Auth (optional)

If you're a first-time user, please use your Google account to sign in to MapOn.ai.

Once authorized, you'll be redirected to the map configuration flow, which will automatically use the spreadsheet you had open before.

3.2 Configure

  1. Select a visualization type

  1. Select the coordinate type and field

If you don't have latitude and longitude, you can use addresses instead. MapOn.ai will automatically convert the addresses into coordinates for you.
